I'm not doing any art yet so the few that I post were done a while ago. The name on this I don't really know.......it just seemed right. :) Thanks for the views and comments. J
While I was gone and in Colorado, Gwen went behind my back and found us another little girl beagle. :) Bless her heart......she is my truest love and knew I couldn't do this. I will christen her Molly and will pick her up next Saturday. She comes from a shelter here in town and is 2 yrs old. I'm not allowed to go to the shelter by myself because I would bring them ALL home. :) My heart is coming out of a very deep and dark place and I thank Gwen for bringing me back..........she is truly my Angel here on earth. Thanks for everything my friends, you have been soooo kind.........The Lion lives again. :) John

Beautiful! Hope your new little girl helps to heal the empty space in you heart. They can't replace, but they can make it easier to accept. Love to see a pic of the new girl!
I love the 3D effect and the design John! This purple looks great with it!! Dont feel bad..I haven't done any art work in 3 days now!..lol..With my oldest home I can't get much done. She's leaving tomorrow, on Easter sunday, so then maybe I can get a few done. Take care buddy!

John, this is such a well done work of art and I think it's wonderful you are going to share all that love you have to give to Molly. I sure would like to see a picture of her my friend. If not on here then I'll share my email address with you. Mr Lion is back and I'm thankful for that. Sandi♥
Had to save this one, and then I read your comment, and it became all the more special. So glad you have your angel and a new little one to love...doubly blessed!

John, I'm sure Maggie would be glad you have Molly to help heal your heart...and a lion must have a heart. May I add, this is a lovely design - the colors are deep and lush. My best to you!
John, I am so excited for you & Gwen. Molly is a very lucky girl to have both of you in her life. You know I raise puppies & I also foster strays ... one of the rewards is sharing in the joy when a family picks up their newest family member. Some of them would love to take ALL of them home too. Maggie will always be in your heart John & now you get to share a part of her with Molly. A lovely image you created ... it is great to see you posting. Take care buddy.
Odin (Old Norse Óðinn, also known as Oden), is considered the chief god in Norse mythology and Norse paganism. Case ya wanted to know!! Hehehe!! A grand design fit for a god!!
Molly sounds like a great name for such a precious pup!!
The image is divine - such a perfect purple - faved :)
I am delighted to hear you will have Molly to follow in Maggie's footsteps. What a wonderful day it will be when you bring her home.
Your Gwen is a wise woman :)

Oh my friend...I was so hoping that this is what would happen eventually...it really is the 'only' way...the best theraputic means of coping with a loss such as yours...
I know...that momentarily...while it may not seem to be a 'perfect' way...it does really work...over time...believe me...
While you are unable to replace Maggie...you 'are' able to add another friend to the family...which...in time...will help to fade the memories you carry so vividly..so heavily.. in your heart and mind today...and of late... I promise...as I have been there and done that...and I know it will help you John...;o)))
We all know that any kind of change is hard...but it really isn't at all...if we choose to veiw it.... as just being 'different'...that's all....and that is what we find so difficult to adjust to.... the 'difference'...but in this case...it will happen rather quickly...I just know...
So have fun with your new 'Molly'...cute name...and she will return your love in 'her' very special way...as Maggie did...it just will be 'different'...at first it may seem like the two of you are speaking a different language...but soon the connection will be made and life will be good again....just wait and see....
Your wife was very wise to see that there was theraputic value in choosing to help in this manner....
As I said at the other place and time, I find this one wonderfully psychedelic, with my favourite colours. Greetings to Molly, and I hope that her cute little presence will help. :)
