Why do the pictures come out square when the lens is round??

OMG John!! The magnificence of the colours here is just unbounded! I am in complete awe of this creation of yours. Talk about wicked good. The movement in the orbs and the 'filigree' work of the lacy affect, they all are just amazing. I can't stop looking at this...what a beautiful poster this would make. Would make me dance, frolick and be totally happy each time I would see it..thank yoiu so much..you're the best with these that's for sure. Verena
