I was walking around in my backyard and i happened to glance up- it was an absolutely beautiful day and there were these three clouds in an otherwise flawless sky... and i thought, those look like steps to heaven... where are the angels? comments appreciated.

Nice shot, Birdie. The sky gradation is nice but there's too much of it. The sky blue draws more attention than the subject material and particularly the very sharp moon. If you crop off at least half, between the top border and the moon, you still have a beautiful sky, and everything else becomes more prominent.
You might also clone out the small, bright semi-circular area of the lowest cloud where it breaks the border. This separates the cloud from earth, so-to-peak and makes it an individual.
These are all little things that create more impact and increase attention on the subject material.
