I like this. It is abstract, colourful and eye burningly bright. Perhaps not so good as a desktop, but a great picture. It definitely needs to be enlarged to appreciate the subtleties of the texture on the glass. I am sure some people will say it is over exposed, which it is, but that is part of the picture, the bright light coming through the glass, cutting like the glass would if it was shattered.

I would not have known what it was without your explanation Sky Girl. Shows that nothing is truly perfect. Good post.

You know, before reading the comment I thought that it was something else ( not quite sure what that something was though :I ). It's a really interesting and beautiful photo. I agree with Mike ( comment above ), you do a have a knack for taking interesting photos. This would be one of them, the colour, the focus but most of all the idea. There is a feeling to this, I can't describe what it is, but this photo is wonderful!!

I have to agree mostly with everyone else in regards to its abstractness; from the thumbnail I thought it was a blade of grass or part of a plant. You really have an eye for what makes a great image, keep up the good work!
