I love the sky and the way the evening light is playing on the slats on the pier. The composition is also excellent. However there is lens flare in the foreground. Just use photoshop or paintshop pro and use the clone brush to get rid of this.
He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the almighty. I will say of the Lord, "He is my refuge and my fortress, my God in whom i trust". Psalm 91: 1 and 2
The composition is a little too centralised. Horizon splits the picture in two, and isn't level, and the sun is central. The sky looks nicer than the foreground, so in general one would put the horizon on the lower 1/3 line, giving the sky 2/3 of the picture and reducing the rather dark foreground. The jetty disappears off the side leaving the viewer wondering what is there. This draws the eye away from the sun It would be better to move the view to the right to show the end of the jetty and place the sun in the left 1/3 line. These are just general rules (rules of thirds) but I think they may help you in the future.
