WOW my first paid wedding shoot (I suppose I can now call myself a _pro_ photographer!) ... a modest start while theres lots & lots to learn I'm very pleased with the initial results. This is a formal shot. Easy to make things look nice when you have such a beautiful bride and handsom groom. I gather that the girls really go for the kilted man (btw he IS Scottish, that's supposed to be his _clan_ tartan :) ). oh what fun playing with new toys, for ultimate portability a canon 430ex flash as slave into a silver/white brolly on a stand, a camera mounted canon 580ex with a Stofen diffuser as the main + a 107cm silver and white light disk, all three light sources for a really soft fill cos it was shot into the sun for that lovey halo and backlit deliniation. I feel really privaleged that my friends asked and trusted me with the photos of such an imporant event in their new lives together. I've LOADS to learn about wedding shoots but I hope you like it

I saw a peanut stand, heard a rubber band, I saw a needle that winked its eye. But I think I will have seen everything When I see an elephant fly. MY GALLERY

this is one of the most beautiful wedding pictures I've ever encountered. The bride looks very pretty and the groom very handsome, and both look so very happy, which makes for a perfect picture. I've always been amazed by this unique tradition shared by all cultures, and although don't see myself as taking part in one, am marveled by the beauty surrounding it. Wonderful job pal :)
