Looking straight up with my peleng 8mm fisheye lens. Had to stick it on a 1.5m tripod and crouch down so as not to be in shot! the sun is setting in the errr west ... the bottom left corner :) its cropped out so that its pretty much 180˚ corner to corner and you can see some mossy forest floor in those corners. Had I put the cam on its back on the ground youd see much more forest floor at the peripheries of the image. The fisheye lens offers a highly unusual dizzyfying perspective. The idea for this shot came from my earlier shot TO BOLDLY GO where the center pointing trails were made with a different lens purely by accident.

Brilliant Jeremi! You have created a kaleidoscope of trees! What a good idea to use a fisheye lens! I love the result! Patti

I thought this was you! Nice results with that fisheye and a perfect stand of trees. You have probably thought of this, but have you tried blending the two images together? Nice one:-)

Sometimes I just surf the images. What a treat when I came upon this one. Very like an M.C. Escher work. You can look at it more ways than one. Well done Jeremi!
