I was aiming for an action shot with motion blur so I used a fairly slow 1/30th shutter while panning. I think I've just about caught the horses eyes perfectly frozen while everything else, muscles and machinary is moving. I was trying to show the power and speed of this animal's work and that of the old peasant too. It's an evening shot with the warm sun casting long shadows. They've still got a fair bit of work ahead before it gets too dark to carry on!

I think you have achieved your goal, Jeremi. I know the motion shots can be tricky. Nice capture.

Beautiful action shot with great color Jeremi. Lighting is excellent and the dust flying makes me want to cover my face! LOL. That catch-light in the horses eye is great. anne :-)

Oh wowowowoowowoow. This is an excellent motion shot. I cannot believe the clarity and detail on the horse and modest farmer (bit nicer than 'peasant'!)...

I have an idea for you- convert it to B & W or sepia for that extra special retro charm?!

he is a PEASANT!! and thats a great thing

dont be fooled by sociatal prejudices
to be a peasant is a supremely noble state

I am IMMENSELY PROUD of my peasant heritage
my gran and grandpa were the last peasants in my direct lineage
though I do still have many many more relatives, still toiling the soil the old way!
