a second in that dedication series inspired by that unknown caedes artist. Please let me know who you were so that I can edit this text to thank you. This one was taken again with the humble Casio QV-R40 but this time with flash. I much much MUCH prefer the light in the first one but the sparkles in the rain drops attractted me here. Thought I'd try a slightly different presentation with the framing and the bands of desaturation. oh the reason i didnt full screen it is that its a crop down from the original to about 1400px so as not to interpolate up and lose quality i merely aded the black bands. Hope you like it

Both images are beautiful Jeremie. I prefer the composition of this one as well as the overall sharpness. Because of the profusion of blooms, I think the dof keeping all the blooms in focus is more pleasing. I'm not crazy about the post work for this particular shot. In another it would be very effective. For this one, the blooms are too beautiful to be messed with. Just my opinion. Cyberhugs, anne :-)

Don't tell me it's good, tell me what is good about it. Don't tell me it stinks, tell me what I can do do improve it. Thank you for taking the time to tell me anything at all. Be blessed. anne :-)

I agree with colocolor, I think I prefer this presentation better. Desaturating some areas was a clever idea.

and just as amazingly beautiful and what a brilliant idea to section the photograph and make some of it almost B&W (desaturating)! now I must have a go at doing that - see you are inspiring me now! Patti
