This is the same cowshed as features in quite a few of my earlier shots. BURNING TREE and a couple of other scenes are just, just off to the right just out of frame. Actually I should call this WIRES GALLORE! lol I thought about cloning them out but its sooo much work and it was turning out really pants (aka $h17) PLUS doing that kind of manip was spoiling the emotional link I have with this place. I just didnt want to do it. That lantern and even those wires are an integral part of my memory of Tama. Also this is what it looks like héhé. GLORIOUS day though eh? its taken about an hour after and a km from VIEW FROM THE BRIDGE

well done Jeremi! very good clarity - did you use a polariser as the sky is so blue? ..and I agree it would have changed the image totally if you had removed the wires and then you would have had to remove the pylon that holds them up and it would have left a big empty space! Patti

Jeremi, I really like this. To me the wires against the blue blue sky are what make this picture. I notice how the 4 wires are parallel with the clouds to the right and the single wire runs parallel with the white cloud it crosses. Again the repeating the theme of an X in the high center, found in some of your earlier posts. I don't know how you just seem to find these locations...have the eye I guess. The only fault I can find is that big pile of split wood. It infers that some one had been working way to hard at this location. Jas

I think the wires add to composition Jeremi, and you are right it would have taken great effort to take them out...I like this image...gerry..

A wonderful post Jeremi with terrific clarity and lovely composition. I too agree on the cloning issue and only use it for 'minor' fixes and then only now and then. IMHO posts are at their natural best when 'what you see is what you get' and progress means we have to put up with all the wires so we deal with it. The sky here is wonderful and you've done a great job with the presentation. I like it very much and thanks for sharing it.

This has tonnes of character and the perspective is great. Very quaint.

I see what you mean about the lines. In this instance they can actually add some interest to the overall scene. The angle helps a lot. That sky is indeed lovely. A very well composed and exposed image actually. The only thing I would have complained about were the wires and you already did it for me...LOL Looks like a lovely place to live. anne :-)

Don't tell me it's good, tell me what is good about it. Don't tell me it stinks, tell me what I can do do improve it. Thank you for taking the time to tell me anything at all. Be blessed. anne :-)

Good job Jeremi, I think you have captured this perfectly.
The setting is really nice and the coloring of the clouds add a very nice texture to this image. Well Done. thanks for sharing, Don

I like the surreal perspective I get on this...as if I am in a dream, standing there. The wires, yes...a whole lotta work....and I think sometimes we all worry about perfection so much that we do not post shots because of it. Then we miss out on a great shot. I like this one, wires and all...
