The lighting is quite effective. I love the angle and all the interest in the root system. It almost seems to have a life of it's own. I could write a story around this image! anne :-)

wow this is the most beautiful root shot I have ever seen. the colors are just amazing with those soft blues and greens. the lighting is so wonderful...what a fantastic shot! on my desktop.

Jeremi, For taking this shot straight on, it appears as if growing outwardly to one side and the one root appears as tho it's holding on for dear life so as not to fall. The lighting highlights the blue and greens perfectly. Thank you for this share. Unique capture.
