I like the simple composition and the lights. Maybe the harsh shadows are bit too much. Maybe that's how you wanted it to be.

It is a beautiful bud and photographed very well. I like the background, it adds emphasis to the tulip.It looks as though it is reaching up to the sun.
I would have preferred the flower to be a bit off- centre, but take no notice of me , I know nothing lol
