Finally I get to post my own flower picture!! You people in the South & the early springs..it just aint fair!! lol Anyway not sure what type of bush this is..possibly a dogwood? We are finally starting to see blooms here now. We saw a record setting high of 87 today! Our average high this time of year? 58! Yeah you know I"M loving it!! LOL

Looks like it was worth the wait Dan- This is such a nice photo . Don't think this is a dogwood but whatever it is, it's gorgeous. The clarity and DOF on this is is super!

It is indeed a magnolia. This is a good shot with nice clarity, though if I could suggest anything it would be to play around with different angles and lighting (ex. morning, dusk), and possibly placing the flower in different parts of the image, you might be surprised with what else you come up with!
