I visited the Downtown "Sculpture Walk" over the weekend where local & not so local artists display their sculptures over the summer. I came back with quite a few pics. of some of them. This one of the "Tatanka" was one of my favorites! Many thanks to everyone for viewing & commenting! Hope you enjoy these!!

A very interesting sculpture Dan. You really need to view full screen to see the fine detail. From the thumbview, I thought it was a woodcarving pieced together. In fullview, it looks to be made out of rusty tin. Nice contrast in colors too. A great capture... well done.

Friends are like shining stars. You may not always see them, but you know they are always there for you.

What a masterpiece of carving. I know you really enjoyed yourself on this outing. Can't wait to see the other sights you were able to take photos of. I really like this one.

Yesterday's history. Tomorrow's a mystery. Today's a gift. That's why it's called the present. See more at http://www.geocities.com/hewymom/index.html

We have one of those big things too. Ours is made of car bumpers and is on display downtown in front of the Wells Fargo Bank. I think this one is better though. Will it be on display permantly? We have what we call Art on the Corner. Over 300 pieces are on display during the summer, some permantely. (That's twice I mispelled the word.) Good shot, great angle on this I really do like it.
