Photography->Architecture
While I was downtown taking pics. of the sculptures last week(previous posts..see my gallery) I decided to swing by my old high school, Washington Senior High. (Go Warriors! lol) It is now the Washington Pavilion of Arts & Science, & contains museums, a concert hall & theatres. While the inside was almost completely gutted & remodeled, the exterior remains for the most part identical to when it was a high school.

Oh Dan! this reminds me so much of the capitol building in SD !! I dont even remember the city its in. Was it Pierre? I mean, sheesh I DID live there, but its been so long ago that I dont remember :( But i love looking at this. Of course you have a way of bringing back memories considering I lived there too. I need to go back and see my old HS etc...This is such a strong interesting structure. Just love that you posted this. Thanx so much my

A very nice clear capture of your high school. You can always tell the building was a school with so many windows. It is always fun to go back & view the changes. My town's school district built a new Middle / Senior High School 5 years ago. The elementary grades are now located in the old high school. The elementary school has been turned into a shopping mall. Dan, you are not going to believe this but my high school's sports team name is "The Warriors" also. How about one big cheer...."GO WARRIORS". This is great.... well done & thanks for sharing.

Ahhh...high schools. Wonderful photo of a fine looking building. I too, like the angle you took this at. Good clarity & colors. I went back to MA, and found my grammer school and the Jr. high have been saved and are used as Senior Apts. My H.S has been torn down and rebuilt. I like the old style of buildings such as this image. Thanks for sharing some old memories :*)
