This is a hazy summer day while on my vacation last week heading for Devils Tower, Wyoming. As I come over the top of a hill it comes into view. I think my jaw hit the floorboards when I saw it for the first time. lol :-)
Wow, an amazing view. I know what you mean about your jaw dropping when seeing Devil's Tower for the first time. I took an "all girls" trip to Wyoming back in my younger days when I was wild & crazy. When you first see the tower .... it looks so close, but yet it is so far away. Great colors & nice composition. Thanks for bringing back some memories & welcome back Dan. Can't wait to see more from your trip. This is going into my fav's also .... thanks.
I am still extremely busy with projects but hopefully things should slow down by the end of the summer. Please know that I appreciate you all and will stop by and visit your images as often as I can. My best to all my friends.
Sincerely,
Carrie
Hey Buddy, I'm glad your back. I have seen many a photo of devils Tower but never from this angle. Excellent! What beautiful country. I love the gentle ble/green colors of the composition. The Tower does indeed standoput, doesn;t it? I would have cloned out the guardrail, the brush pile and the little dead pine tree. Love the winding road. It breaks up the horizontal lines of the composition. beautiful.
