Hiked a trail near Two Medicine Lake in Glacier National Park to see these falls named "Running Eagle Falls". This is actually two falls together however you cant tell the lower from the upper with this much running over them. Later in the summer during drier weather they become more distinctly seperated.

A beautiful capture of the falls with the mountains as a backdrop. I love the different shades of green. Looks like a beautiful place for a nature hike. A nicely composed image Dan .... you really picked the perfect area for your vacation.

Now, that's purty. Beautiful falls. There is a touch of fall in this composition. Love the bright green trees that serve as framing on the left. This is just an all around gorgeous landscape. Good work.

What lovely scenery you must have seen Dan on your vacation. I know there's no way you could have taken a photo of everything but you are certainly showing us the highlights. Magnificent waterfall here. I can almost hear the water crashing at the bottom. Nicely composed as well with the mountain in alignment with the falls.

Nice work on composing this image using the foreground fir trees to frame it.

I would say, that apart from a very picturesque setting ... that the composition is one of the stronger elements.

Visually, it is a very inviting image. I do like the way you eye is drawn up from the focal anchor of the falls themselves to the heights of the scene.

Caveats? Just minor. I take it that you were shooting under some harsh lighting conditions. Some of the sky is washed out. Next time, next time. 'Cause I would love to see this area again. So, rather than a critique ... consider my words as a request for more of.

Great shot. And thank you for sharing your efforts.
