This was taken just down stream from Running Eagle Falls. (previous post..see my gallery) I dont recall the name of this creek, but it may have been the same as the falls. Saw lots of wildflowers in the area. They were just starting to get going at that time that far north believe it or not! I believe this may be wild roses here?? Please correct me if I'm wrong! Thanks so much everyone for all your views & comments! You are all very much appreciated! :)

I am not positively sure they are wild roses, but I can say they are very beautiful. A very lovely & serene capture with the stream, flowers, & pine trees as a backdrop. Looks like a perfect place for a nature walk. Very nicely done.

Forget the flowers Dan get out the pole or better yet maybe fly rod, I used to love to fly fish in Colo. but you really need to find a still spot and they'll just congregate there. (trout) But not to PO the flower lovers, BOY OH BOY those flowers sure are purdy.lol

What a pretty spot to spend a few hours at, searching for photos, listening to the flow of the water, and feeling the little breezes. I bet it was fantastic being there..Nice shot!! V

What a nice touch with the wild roses Dan. Seems kind of strange doesn't it they would be growing here?. What a wonderful photo this is.The water flowing wild and free in all directions and the different shades of greenery really make this such a beautiful place. Nice work my friend.

I missed this one. Very nice having the flowers in the front foreground juxtaposed to the rugged terrain of the rest of the surroundings. Beautiful!
