My field of wildflowers from yesterday now shows what was hiding in it! The young wolf comes out in the open. Funny..about this same time a little girl wearing a red hood came walking by carrying a picninc basket...said something about going to her Grandmas house...

Oh boy, yesterday just the ears and today he's on the move, definitely has something in sight. Sure hope it's not Little RRhood :) Great shot Dan. Thanks for sharing it today. Anita

All the wonders you seek are within youself.
I said it in the other image of the wildflower and I am soooooooooo glaaddddddd thats not my back yard and I dont have to mow it. The other image didnt give you the feeling of the height of the grass as much as this one does. I hope that wolf didnt get any closer to you.

Beautiful capture. Such a majestic animal. Reminds me of my aunts property. Except hers is a tad more brown due to the Texas sun and it's coyotes and cougars not wolves. Though my mom swears she's seen some on her land.

A very nice capture Dan. I guess I was on the right track yesterday ... didn't think it might be a wolf. It is always nice to observe wild animals in their natural habitat. I hope Little Red Riding Hood shared some of her picnic lunch with you ... LOL!!!! Thanks for sharing this Dan ... I am sure it was very exciting.

I've changed my mind about running across this field Dan and I am taking off this red coat. ;) Amazing you saw a wolf. I saw one in Calgary Zoo but I have never seen one running wild. well done in capturing him so well in this photograph. Patti

I am WAY behind THANKING, viewing and commenting! My apologies! I care very much for everyone and will catch up asap! Thanks for all the nice comments on my work!
Now, I like this. I saved it and will place it on my desktop. There's not a whole lot to it. It's simple yet speaks volumes. Lot of detail in the grass and in the wolf. the wold is beautiful and cunning. I like it's pose as it slinks thru the grass. I'll lay odds, it doesn't go to bed hungry.
