Took one last shot of this young wolf before I let him be. Caught him running along the ditch next to the road shortly before he crossed over & ran off. Good luck wolfie!!

Oh wow Dan! Now I am really glad I did not run across that field! lol You caught him really close there. Well done! I watched the wolves in Calgary Zoo for quite some time and didn't manage to get a good shot at all. Well done!

Amazing how close this wolf got to you Dan for you to get this shot. It is so pretty and doesn't seem the least bit bothered by your presence at all. You must have the special touch with animals as well as people .Darn good work!

Thanks so much everyone for your comments on all my "wolfie" pics.! I'm not sure what he has on his muzzle..but it's probably from his last meal..and probably not ketchup! lol Hopefully it wasnt Little RR Hood! LOL I was in awe of this fella..I was so happy to have the chance to capture him on camera!!
