I followed this storm cloud the other night as it passed through the area. This farm was one of the very few who were lucky enough to get any benefits from it.
Man that's a heck of a cloud burst there Dan, good shot and it's been hot here too. 107 heat index in the shade. Me and the hound are atayin' in except for the neccesities if ya know what I mean.lol
wow Daniel! hope it didn't suck you up into the cloud! looks pretty fearsome from here! Now didn't your mother ever tell you not to chase clouds??? but........I have to say, it is a pretty awesome photograph! - sheesh I am sounding more American every day! - I never used to use the word awesome! lol &:~) Patti
I think I would have expected more than rain to come out of that cloud. I congradulate you for making the best of the moment. Good eye and great capture.

What a great capture of the storm cloud formation and the farmers would have been happy for the rain. This cloud looks lik it is going to drop a funnel at any time. Great work and this one goes into the fav folder

Excellent capture Dan. Great how you caught that deluge of water in that column. Not too sure I'd have been tailing that cloud so closely ... really looks wicked. A quick glance at the thumbnail and it looked like an a-bomb blast.
I'm playing catch-up here Dan, and I have enjoyed all in your series. Around these parts, seeing a cloud like that might put us in our "fraidy hole." Wonderful captures! - Patty
What a crazy shot! That is the way it is here in florida too, you can be riding down the road and see rain just pouring on one little section. Beautiful shot, thanks for sharing!
