I make the same association, Dan, but my grandkids are quick to object when I say, "Patience, Grasshopper." You've done an excellent job capturing this insect; you caught him in a moment of contemplation. Loved your additional thoughts on it! - Patty

Heh, I'd just looked at the new images gallery, went and uploaded a picture of a grasshopper on a flower I just took, came back here, and saw that this had just appeared. Yours is much better than mine, though. ;-)
Anyway, this looks great! Not blurry, and the flowers provide a good backdrop for the grasshopper.
