I bet you were tempted to put your hat on top of the statue Daniel! do they light up in the evening time do you know? I can imagine they would look very pretty! I think I would be tempted to move the statue a little off centre but only cause I like things a bit cockeyed! ;) that is an English expression I think! :) well done my friend. Patti

What a nice scene. Full of serenity as those Japanese Gardens are most always. You've certainly captured this at a lovely time of day with very nice composition and clarity. Well done. Thanks for sharing it today.
All the wonders you seek are within yourself. Always glad to see visitors at My Gallery and thanks for your continued kind words and constant support. Anita
A beautiful capture of this lantern ... the surroundings look so lush & green. I see there's a lake for me to check out also. You really do have alot of neat parks where you live ... hmmmmm ... I just may have to head west one of these days. LOL. Very nicely done cowboy.
A Japanese Garden in SD?? How do those Cowboys and Indians feel about that?? :)) You know Dan, after looking closely at your lantern, I think cloning out that top part so we could see the water behind it would be nice:)))) <g> - Ok, you bring out the evil twin in me! You shot this well. No bullets. Ok, you captured this well. No net. It's nice, OK!!
I think all that podoga needs is a pair of chaps wrapped around it and a horse slid under it. It already has bowed legs. I'm thorry..... Nice capture.

Never rebuke while you’re still indignant about a fault committed—wait until the next day, or even longer. Then calmly, and with a purer intention, make your reprimand. You’ll gain more by a friendly word than by a three-hour quarrel.

The name ChuPat is derived from my nickname Chuck and my wife of 34 years name Patti. Her photography will appear on Caedes as well from time to time. I consider myself an advanced amature not anyway close to being a professional. I have just taken photography more seriously since I have switched to digital. My profession has always been associated with pohtography in one way or another. Any criticism I receive will be well appreciated.
I swear Dan- You have the prettiest park I've ever seen. There are so many beautiful things in it that just make you feel welcome and invite you to enjoy.Very pretty capture you've shared with us.Thanks!
A wonderful shot here! Very peaceful yet artistic... Funny thing, I seen this and said "I don't remember posting that" because I was at our local Japanese Garden this past weekend and took a very similar shot. How coincidental!
