While hiking in Newton Hills State Park recently I came across this little bench on the nature trail. Bob was first thing I thought of! Have a seat Bob, & take a load off! :)
Great shot, Dan!! Look at the light coming right down into the center of the ... wait a minute - did you darken the edges?? Are you trying to trick me? How'd you do that? :) I have an idea - let's clone Bob in!! LOL Well Done!! - Patty
lovely Daniel! I love the way the sun is filtering through the trees! I think Bob would be in heaven here - I can just picture him ZZzzzing away with the sun on his face! lol! Patti

Never Mind Bob - He has sits by the dozen now, and all over the World - I wager!! Can I clone myself into this one? Such a beautiful sunny corner - just right for my old bones! (Sorry for pushing Bob- if you see this!) lol, Lovely peaceful photo, thanks for sharing, Dan
Wow Dan ... the lighting & shadow play is magnificent. Wonderful colors & I love how the edges are darker. Looks like a peaceful place to relax & Bob will love it. Excellent shot!!!!
Great job Dan very well presented there bud. Owd Bob is gonna be gettin' blisters on his butt from all the places people are givin' him to sit.LMAO What's that Bob??............. says he's fine no need to worry his butt's used to it.LOL Take care Dan.
Terrific picture Dan and I'm sure owd Bob will need it when he gets back so he can rest up some ;) Love your lighting and composition here. It's just excellent. Thanks for sharing this with us.

Nice effect on the outsides of this post. The circular pattern works well here to center the eye on the subject and create a focal point because with all the wonderful light and shadow in here, the crispness of it, this needs a counterbalance, and you've found it in the impressive way you've darkened the edges. I like this a lot and if owd Bob doesn't want it when he returns, and if it's still available I'll make a little campfire with those fallen branches in the background and start a weenie roast...lol :)PJ
Looks like he could stretch out on this one and take a nice long nap Dan. I like the effect you've used to really make the bench stand out.Looks like a nice quiet place. How nice of you to think of Bob. I'm sure he'll appreciate it.
***I'M BAAAACK!***
Excellent Dan...I appreciated you thinking of this owd sod!..thanks...I really need this at present!.....I'm worn-out! with wor-lass tramping me round all those 'horrible' shops! that women seem to love!.......A terrific picture to look at on my screen....much appreciated.........Bob
An eye catcher Dan, and a perfect bench for Bob. This shot is so clear, with lovely sunlight shining through causing great shadow play. How nice it would be to find this bench after hiking..it's perfect in this setting. This looks like a cozy nook full of pretty foliage. Now if only this park was here - I can wish :) Thanks for this perfect 'sit down' area :*>
