As several have asked for, here is one of the trails the bridge lead to. This one was about 3 miles long I believe & went through woods almost all the way. An easy walk for the most part with a fairly good climb towards the end. This was Labor Day & the park was fairly busy, so didnt see any wildlife this day. The park is well known for deer & wild turkeys. (the animal not the liquor..lol) Hope you enjoy & thanks for viewing!! Dan

Great job on this Dan, you got quite the eye for the ol' camera shot. No Wild Turkey 101 Huh?? Probably a good idea, those deer and other critters would be hurtin' themselfs runnin' into trees and what not.LMAO Take care buddy.

A great shot Dan of this very nice looking trail. Wish the one's in the state park behind me were nice & flat as this one ... they are pretty much straight climb up & you basically run or slide down. LOL. Excellent lighting & I like how the trees form a canopy over the trail. Very nicely done. :-)

The downed limbs in the foreground on both sides, really stand out. I love their color and texture. I love trails like this. The perspective makes one visualize what is around that bed. I hope you took the opportunity to explore this thoroughly.
Nice work.

Jumped right out at me the first time I looked at it :) Congrats on your frame...The post is lovely with the lightly saturated leaves near the top illuminating the upper branches of the trees as they lean towards each other to create a delicate canopy that places dapples of sunlight on the path and makes for many interesting patterns. The angles of the fallen branches add strength to what otherwise might succumb to too fragile a composition, so even though I suppose they could be seen as cluttering up the presentation, I think they add a solid bulwark. The clarity I think, IMHO gets a little lost in all the busyness of the light and leaves, but it doesn't really matter, as a photo like this depends more on the conveyance of feeling than the microscope of reality. I can't resist a path that beckons, and especially one that is strewn with what looks like some dry leaves to crunch underfoot. This works on so many levels, Dan. I like it :)PJ

I really like how the trees look as though they're bowing as if they're welcoming you. Very pretty photo Dan and I like your framing also.

Clouldn't you have at least brought aolng a little Wild Turkey to share with us all. Oh, you were talking about the bird, not the booze. Oh well, You were able to get a really nice image here that lets us use our imagination what is comming up on the trail. Hope to see a deer or turkey next time.

I would not want to follow this path after too much Wild Turkey myself...

Generally, by the time you are Real, most of your hair has been loved off, and your eyes drop out and you get loose in the joints and very shabby. But these things don't matter at all, because once you are Real you can't be ugly, except to people who don't understand. ~Margery Williams The Velveteen Rabbit~
