This one is from Arrowhead Park again. I wasnt going to post it, but for lack of other material at the moment I thought what the heck. lol This little bridge crossed over to the private residence in the park from the park itself. I did not cross it since it was private property & wanted to respect their privacy. Thanks so much for all your visits & comments my friends!! Happy Thanksgiving to you all!! :)

Yeah and they might take a shot at ya too. LMAO Good one Dan, the ol' covered bridges are gettin' few and far between now buddy. Around here we don't have too many (Ill.) but Indiana still has quite a few.

Hi Dan,
Suggestions: Rule of thumb that I try to follow but sometimes fail: I ask myself, "Does this picture excite me? I f I have to give a negative answer to that question, I don't post it. If your composition doesn't excite you, it probably won't anyone else either. If it gets a bad c-rating, then there it sits in your otherwise pretty gallery pulling the overall gallery down. I'm not saying this is a good or bad posting. That's for you and others to decide. I am just gathering from your commentary that you were not overly excited about it. It's perfectly focused, colors are natural, perspective is ok but there is not much going on here. Had you not told me, I would not have known this was a covered bridge. Maybe a different angle would have revealed that better. Now, don't swat me with a ball bat. I'm just trying to be helpful.

So you're trying to corner the market on covered bridges now, I see ...:( hmmmph....and just after I risked life and limb to send you one from above the mighty rushing abyss that roars alongside the Simon Pearce factory..well, there's gratitude for ya..lol...it's a very cute LITTLE bridge, Dan, and it's very peaceful and quiet here with NO traffic at all to interfere with the solitude of the surroundings, like traffic, or water spray....lol ;)PJ

EDIT: Posted at the same time as Ms. Andre's...my apologizes :)

Now I want to see what's on the other side! Just curious. I like the soft greens that are still there as other colors begin to fade.

Huff, huff, puff, puff....I just got here Dan! I've been trying to get here and am just catching up with my viewing. What a really pleasant sight this is. It looks like it's still warm there. I love that bridge too. This is a really nice shot.
