I thought I would post a more close up and more naturally colored shot of the falls today. This is just plain white light on it here, but you dont have to wait long and it will change color again. About every 30 seconds or so the colors change on them. The bright white you see in the middle of the falls is actually frozen froth from the rushing waters. If you like more color I will be posting at least one more with colored lights possibly more. Just dont want it to be too repetitious. :) Thanks everyone!!

Looks like there's sort of a pink glow around the edges already..must be the next set of lights coming up? And at the bottom of the pic there is a little rainbow as well as the soft blue/green glow from the center near that frozen froth, which I've never even heard of before. This may have been a white light, but I think that perhaps someone put a filter over the lens on this one..it's a beauty and I know I'm certainly enjoying these :)PJ

I really can't compare this image here to the other ... for me it is a case of apples and oranges. Your other shot (thus far to me) has the distinct human touch in it through the buildings and the lights that are strung all around.
Now this one ... is entering that intrepretative surreal category as already echoed in some of the above comments. I like it ... alot.
Well composed. Good detail and clarity. The viewer does indeed get drawn in for a closer look. That ... is indeed a compliment.
And having mentioned the human element in the other ... I wonder what you would think about cloning out or removing the reflected shadows of the rail (?) that appears in the left-hand side area? If that were not present (and it is no biggie, make no mistake about my words here) ... I think, IMHO, that it would add to the wonderful mood and feel, already present in this image. Just a thought.
Most thoughtful of you Dan to avail yourself for our viewing pleasure. That sentiment equals the impact of this shot. Both, very powerful.
