Thought I would bring everyone back to the old courthouse for a peek at was was under the tower. The part you didnt see! This is the old Minnehaha County Courthouse turned museum. It was originally completed in 1893, but was restored and reopened as a museum in 1974. As you can see it was built out of the same Sioux Quartzite stone as many of the older buildings in this area were. Among many other things it features 16 wall murals painted between 1915 and 1917.
