I have posted pics. of this church previously, but never from this angle and not in the snow. We had just a dusting, but it was just enough to "pretty up" the landscape some! Thanks for all your views and comments. Hope everyone had a great New Years! :)

Well, a dusting is 'something'! I like the slope of the field and t he lined up pines with the steeple peeking out. A nice composition, Dan.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

Looks pretty cold and it looks very lovely, the church in this white dress. Good job.

What a great angle you shot this at Dan. It looks so peaceful and serene. Sometimes less is more and I have to agree in the case of the snow here. The dusting allows the colors of the land to peek through and show off their colors also. No ifs, ands, or buts about it, this is a great post. Thanks Dan.

Now I know you mid-westerners in general like to keep a place nice and neat and tidy...well-groomed one might say...but, Dan, really...you didn't have to go out and groom the snow on the side of that rise, or if you felt you needed to at least you could have groomed it in a criss-cross pattern..lol.....Nice shot and even though I know you've been looking for more winter than you've gotten, this dusting works very well in this pretty, pastoral (no, that was not a pun) scene. Thanks for postin' it, Sheriff. Tip 'o the hat :)PJ

A most lovely peaceful shot Dan. The sky is a wonderful colour and the snow ripples down the hill add great texture.

Beautiful image of a beautiful place Dan! I love how the land flows up leading the eye to the trees and church beyond. Well done, my friend!
