Well, if I knew how to ski this is probably what I would have been doing this snowy day too! This is a small ski lodge here in Sioux Falls. Nothing close to a mountain slope..just the biggest hill to be found in this area for many miles. They have been making their own snow all winter and I'm sure they were happy to see Mother Nature start to contribute her share finally also! :)

Very nice image and the chairlift gives some color into the winter landscape. I wonder, if it also works in summer, so you could go up there and making a photo of the view from above.

You don't ski ??? Man I thought you did everything Sheriff Dan. LMAO I'd ski but I'm considerate of others and don't want to hurt anybody by plowin' into em' LMAO Plus my tail really takes a beatin' (by runnin' over it myself) out there on the slopes. LMAO Good one Dan, just get out there and yell FORE and they'll get outta your way. :-)

God, I am so jellious. I went sking in Vermont on mud and ice. My son and I went to Mt. Snow. I wish I was with you instead of him. Not that I don't love my son but I sure miss the snow in the North East.
Great picture, wish I was there... Vic

I promise I won't say "I told you so to Vic" but I did..lol...great shot, Dan, and it's so nice to be able to look over at it in the full size on the other monitor and comment while I explore. ;) You must have been on the ski lift in order to take this pic..great job, my friend.

I love seeing the snow falling and I'm sure many have been waiting to use those lifts! This is really a nice shot of winter. The red lift looks great against the white snow.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes
