This is the porch from the "Old Stone House" which I posted yesterday. Had several people comment on it so I just decided to post one of the porch by itself. Reminded me of a carousel (merry-go-round)..just need to add a few horses! Thanks everyone for viewing and commenting!! :)

If somebody will bring horses there, you will. Smile. Very nice image of this funny little porch.

You're right, Sheriff...it's not a painted lady porch at all. Definitely a carousel approach. As Sabine and Patti commented, you'd be the man for the job of leading the horses to water...I mean bringing the horses to complete the ride. Someone certainly is very creative and I think it would make a very colorful and interesting desktop..nice and clear too !!!

Looks like the owners are have "Painted Lady" instincts, yet are stuck with a stone house.

Great title, Dan, and so appropriate. If that's all of a house I had to paint, I'd be changing it every year! Wonderful detail. I love it when people paint their houses like this. I would so love to live in a stone house instead of a log one!

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

It could be the cottage where Hansel and Gretal went to in the woods. Lovely and candy like.

That's quite a paint job on that porch. We have an old historic home painted like that in my town. These house are pretty to look at but a maintenance nightmare. Good capture.
