I looked at some old Sepia postcards of the Sioux Falls taken around the early 1900's and thought I'd try to duplicate one here. I gave my shot a sepia tone and eliminated most the modern day structures nearby, and I think I came fairly close. (Save for some erosion that more than likely occured since then..lol) Thanks for all your comments and input. Much appreciated!

Nice image Dan, looks like it was taken a long time ago when you used the Sepia effect.
Good job buddy, thanks for sharing, Don

This turned out very well, Dan. Is this a rework of your "Frozen Falls" upload? It looks similar, perhaps cropped? I like the effect very much and you also did a great job of removing the modern-day images from the background. I remember my grandmother having these types of postcards around stored up in her attic (along with all the other old stuff she used to save) some with what looked like crayon coloring here and there. This certain gives the rocks a very smooth, rounded look. More, please :)

It worked very well. I first thought, you really scanned one, but wondered, why it is still without any signs of age. Very good job done!

I really like how you gave this image that old-fashioned look Dan. I remember going through my grandparents old sepia images & was always fascinated by them. You did a great job here Sheriff Dan ... your talent really shows on this one.

Saw this in VB and my first thought was: the sepia makes it look like an old timey picture. Could be 100 years old. T'rific!
