This is another shot of the frozen Falls of the Big Sioux River. You can see what little open water there was at the bottom of the falls. Thanks for your comments and for stopping by!
wow Daniel! It must be minus 100 there! it makes me shiver looking at this - amazing that it has frozen solid like that! Better get your thermals out! lol! Patti

Superb shot, Dan. I didn't realise a waterfall froze like that! You've captured some lovely textures in this image and the hints of blue are very striking in contrast with the snow and rocks.
Fingers crossed this is the shot that will fulfil your 'Project' wish for you.
Well, at least you didn't have to worry about your shutter speed on this one :) I like all the different colors you've gathered. We get blue ice around here, but it's usually just one color, or maybe two. From this view, it looks like you've got a whole lot more than that...lol..I was sitting here looking at the pic and trying to count the different shades of blue and then realized that there are other colors too..must be the quartzite or other rock hues that help..whatever :) I think you've really done a great job here, Dan. It's on my hard drive
Cold there huh ?? LMAO Suppose ta be fifty here by the weekend.........get out the boat. LOL Good job Dan, you could probably go chisel out some fish for dinner. :-)

Wow, it must be a zillion below! I think I see some old men faces in that ice sculpture! Mother nature is clever and an artist too. Thanks for this wonderful shot, Dan. That view is very impressive.
You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.
