With what I hope will be our last snow storm of the season last week, (fingers crossed) came some of Mother Natures beauty too. A drive in the country the day after showed several of her masterpieces that I will post in the following days. Hope you agree and enjoy them! p.s.temps today into the 60's(F)! Come on Spring! :)

Yes, I agree. On the country side, snow really looks good - so clean and white and it fits perfect to the great sky you had.

Wowie....you did something that I'm always trying to do: namely, capture the sparkles on the snow. It's so frustrating to see them through the lens and then not see on the outcome...either that or they're all blown out. You did a great job here, my friend, and I'm really enjoying that last..what we hope we be the last...of winter's beauty. Hat's off to you, my friend.

Ah, so nice, Dan! I can even see the shining sprinkles of snow. What a beautiful tribute to winter and a wonderful goodbye to it as well.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

I like both of these winter's beauty shots, Dan! That was quite the storm, wasn't it? We were commenting that the fence posts showed how deep it was in spots and you caught it all. Great work.

That's a really beautiful snow image. Love the different colors of snow. The brown grasses poking up adds just the right touch. Well done.
