Yessss no manipulation we are talking "natural beauties" here. I seem to enjoy the "straight" from camera better and your uncolored work gets a perfect approval of these wonderful birdies. Thanks for sharing this and I'll give you yer crayons back and then some 'maybe magical markers' a bit later.....

This is nice too but I still think they'd look better browning in the oven. :)

I like this both ways! This is really lovely, but you did an excellent job in your manip, so I would have a hard time choosing between the two!

Laughing at John's comment, this is a nice clear capture Dan, like both posts.

I always enjoy crisp shots of birds' feathers and the bill is certainly filled with this original, but I know that it is fun to fool around in the sandbox too, so I guess I'd just have to pick them both for my faves file!!

I love the shot, but I loved the manip even more because of the colors you found in the image.

I like the natural image, but pumping up the saturation just a tad would have a similar effect to the colored one. I wouldn't play around with it much because the natural image is nicely composed as well as clear and the water has very pretty shades of blue already.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

I like both Daniel. The colours are lovely though on this one without touching it! I think they are two males on the look out for mates! .....note the attention they are giving to some other bird! ;) lol!

this one is better in my opinion, but that is simply because i love the more "natural look"
but it could be enhanced a bit in PSP or Photoshop
thanks for uploading this one !
