This sculpture sits in front of the county courthouse here in Sioux Falls. I did my best to get the reflection of the U.S. flag unfurled, but that's as good as it got. lol The South Dakota state flag reflection is on the right side. The title of this sculpture is "The Fabric of Law." This is the inscription on it. ............................................. THE FABRIC of LAW....................................................... The multicolored fabric of law flows through society to ensure order and justice. Lady Justice holds the scales of justice in her left hand. Attorneys strive to keep the scales in balance. Her right hand rests on The Book of Law, including our constitutional rights, supported by Lady Liberty. Attorneys and Justices guard those rights, and decisions are based on evidence and law. Families provide guidance and instruction to children in right and wrong. The fabric of society is frayed by wrongs and healed by the fabric of law with fairness and justice. John Jastrom 2006

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

Nice composition, Sheriff, and it looks like the sun is finally cooperating out there giving you that gorgeous blue reflection in the windows and some nice shadow play on this eyecatching statue. I especially like how you included the reflections of the two flags.
