I took this pic. of my windvane from my deck the other night near sunset. The figure of the American Indian on horseback is from a famous western sculpture called End of the Trail. You might also like to see a previous post of this I did here. Thanks for viewing and commenting!

This is so awesome against that sunset sky. I remember your other post of this weather vane. Very striking silhouette.

This is what I call a great sky and the silhouette in front makes it even look better. Very good work here.

Real nice work here, Sheriff, and I took a look at your previous post, and I think this one works equally as well, and the sky was certainly on your side when you shot this one. Excellent and in my Caedes 07 faves folder.

Interesting and perceptive perspective. I like it. I would have never guessed you would have a western theme for a weather vane. Good work.

I took a quick peek at this last night, but didn't have time to comment, but boy this is one beauty of a shot. I love the weathervane contrasted against that beautiful sundown. This is excellent, Dan. It's now a favorite. And i'm just in line with the right direction on that weather vane!

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes
