Hey Keif, thanks for the tips! This was on the edge of a lake bank and I was standing on a rock. Laying down would have required an air mattress..or a very wet me! LOL

A creamy haggis? Oh well, your shirt is intact and so are your pants and you still have captured these lovely little flowers on a field of green for all to view. Great capture, Dan.
You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

well I have Captain Haggis behind me at the moment, and he thought Keifer's comments amusing...(that's a big compliment from him) and that you might want to cream that up a bit more... at any rate.. as I am working my way through the myriad of computers in various states of up and readiness, health and wealth behind me...I have to say...GREAT SHOT, my friend...and envy your normality...send a wish my way...
I won't be uploading images until my computer comes out of its sudden coma, as I am commenting using a shared machine that doesn't have PhotoShop or my images on it. :(

Phew, this stinks, sorry!! It's not a great shot Dan-Man as others above have stated. Too many people "tryin" to be nice. The shot has potential for sure. Baby Big-Ears had a nice thought!! A different angle on the take, closer (you can never get to close), macro I'm thinking or portrait mode could work wonders here. The overall gamma and whites really come off harsh, not to mention the upload size...wassup with dat?? Think desktop wallpaper. My native res is 1280x1024, not 800x1067...I can't even compute that. I just wanna be honest 'cause I know deep down that's what ya want...right?? It's nice to see your thought process though as too many people would simply step on these beauties never looking for the potential perfection in the flora world!! Keep'em coming and keep having fun buddy!!
