"Imperfection is beauty; madness is genius & it's better to be absolutely ridiculous than absolutely boring. And when it comes down to it, I let them think what they want. If they care enough to bother with what I do, then I'm really better than them."--Marilyn Monroe
*You will have noticed that I haven't been commenting as much on your fine images!..This is because of the pains in my hands!..the constant use of the keyboard, makes this difficult..so, my dear friends..I can only apologise to you all in advance!*

Reminds me on me in that age ... and not only the books, also the style. Smile. Very nice capture and I am happy, you are able to show us so many sculptures. You know, I like them.

Always remember - Follow the Yellow Brick Road, it will lead you to the Emerald City and OZ A very nice place to be. Trust me on this one, I live there. :-)................ MY GALLERY - THE LION****Another Site I'm AT - MY DA HOMEPAGE
This is a great capture Dan. I love the colors and the details. There is one thing wrong though, this is not sitting in my front yard! lol
This is a keeper. Thank you for sharing it with me ;=)
I can see why the owner brought it along to show. It's just too good to be sitting at home reading all the time...needs a little fresh air once in a while. Excellent shot, Dan :)

The concept for this one is splendid, a boy avidly interested in books. I think this would have been a personal favorite of mine too. I wonder what they paid for this one. Didn't you say they were being sold for around $27,000?
You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.
