Tuckered Out Angel sculpted by South Dakota's own Sherri Treeby. One of my favorites in the Sculpture Walk this year. This reminds me so much of Willie Nelson's song "Angel Flying Too Close to the Ground". A few lyrics: If you had not have fallen, Then I would not have found you, Angel flying too close to the ground. And I patched up your broken wing, And hung around a while. Tried to keep your spirits up, While you were feelin' down. I knew someday that you would fly away. For love's the greatest healer to be found! So leave me if you need to, I will still remember. Angel flying too close to the ground!

This is wonderful, Dan. In the thumbnail, I thought this was a real woman. I like the way the tree boughs hang on either side of her. Very nicely presented as well. I like this a lot.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

I hope I see this one in the VB. This is excellent. Your capture of it is exquisite. Love the faces of the two. A keeper.

People will soon forget what you said or what you did, but they will always remember how you made them feel.
