"Americans love to fight, traditionally. All real Americans love the sting and clash of battle." what a great man, and great photo Dan. Thanks for sharing this. Only suggestion is to get less of the bottom and the top of the helmet with a little sky above it. Very Nice job.

Wonderful shot buddy and I think it is my favorite one so far in your collection of sculptures. This man was one of America's Best. Superb job Dan and thanks for sharing, Don
He was one of the wiser men of his generation not like those running the show from Pennsylvannia Ave. but a man on the front line of the war. Excellent bust of him and a terrificly clear image of him at a great angle, Dan.
You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

"Imperfection is beauty; madness is genius & it's better to be absolutely ridiculous than absolutely boring. And when it comes down to it, I let them think what they want. If they care enough to bother with what I do, then I'm really better than them."--Marilyn Monroe
Great portrait shot, Dan...very strong and striking...btw, did I ever tell you we're practically related...my maternal Grandmother was born in Minto, North Dakota...if you have any shots from there would love to see them sometime.
