Royalty as in a Monarch! Yesterday I said how I had explored a vacant lot next door to where I work that I had never gone into before. I was saying that it held some very nice photo-ops and beauty I never noticed before. This was one of the things I saw in there. I think this is probably only the 3rd or 4th butterfly I have ever been able to capture on camera. I think this may be my best and I hope you like it too! :)

I think I was able to trick two of them.... in a lifetime. to pose for me...;o) This image is so full of yellow and beauty my friend...I can't help but think...that this is perhaps one of the best butterfly photos...I have seen....
In fact...I think that I remember you once saying that your favorite color was yellow....did I remember right Dan....? A very nice job...now then...we should compare our butterflies as Russ and I do our bees....LOL! Do you think that South Dakota butterflies are better than Michigan's...teasing....LOL!
