Somehow they just look so much more natural in your part of the world. There are "farms" that raise them here, but it's just not the same. Clear shot of that rare creature. Love that bright, green grass as well, Sheriff!

I remember well your "Tatanka" series Dan. Nice to see the real thing. I got to see some bison at a zoo near the beach a few months ago. I never realized they were so BIG LOL. You've really done him justice with your photo here. Thanks cowboy.

Reminds me of "Cody" the buffalo who starred in Dances With Wolves ... Cody was a local star at all the area summer events & parades. Wonderful capture Dan ... these animals of the plains are truly beautiful.
