This is the Orange County Court House. This is where I found the cannons images in my gallery. It is still being used and is used also by the film industry as a court office or law firm building. It was dedicated in 1901. It is made of granite and sandstone. It is a 30,000 sq foot building. It is in the National Register of Historic Places and is a State of California Historic landmark.

A great image & interesting history on the courthouse in your narration. the clarity is excellent & I love the detail on the building. It is very striking against the blue sky. I love historic landmarks. Thank you for sharing.

Outstanding Kim! The angle you chose, rich color, and sharpness of this image makes it such a beautiful capture. A 10 from me!

Every morning I will rest my arms a while upon the windowsill of heaven, gaze upon God, and with that vision in my heart turn strong to meet my day.

Hmmm...there's a tree right in the middle of the picture. That's obviously a little difficult to avoid, and you have a very good angle on the building, but maybe is there a comparable angle from the other side without a tree? Or a super wide angle lens from in front of the tree might work. Regardless, it's a very good shot, the colors are all beautiful!
