abstract
I didn't want to upload this until the "Guess the Artist" contest was over. It is very similar to the shot I used as raw-material for my submission there. ^_^ If you like this one I can maybe submit that particular shot later on. Can anyone guess what this is? =)

Makes a very nice desktop, Klas - I particularly like the faint outer images, like a secondary rainbow. The "cusps" at the end of the yellow look like reflections from inside a round surface, like you see on the top of liquid in a cup under the right conditions. Other than that, no idea what it is....

BTW, The abstract you did for the Guess The Artist should be linked to this one from this page. It's most impressive as well. Clean, creative, and an attractive desktop.

Hehe. :) No it's not a spoon B.J.. Thanks for the comment on my "Guess the Artist" submission. I fixed a link above by the way. I'll submit the actual image I worked on too I think. I took it using the same kind of props. ^_^
Thank you too Simon for your comment. You were getting close in your observations. It's a reflection allright. I held up a CD in the weaning light of late evening and directed the reflection on the wall of my bedroom. I twisted and bent (so you were kind of right on that point above) the CD in different kind of ways and held it in other angles to the light to make variations of the reflections shape. I had a lot of fun for maybe 20 minutes until the light got too weak to shoot good photos. ^_^

nice picture! reminds me of a bean pod. in a good way though! the colors contrast nicely with the black background.

Reminds me of a water droplet after it rains, the kind where the rainbow shows when it shines in the light :)
