Hehe... Spin off to my spur of creativity in the latest contest. Or rather. This is what I came up with first but I modified it some more today. (For those of you that don't like my shades of green or what ever it is you don't like... Few ever tell me so how can I learn.) *Do your worst* criticizing. (lol) I can take it. ;)

Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeell, I'll jump in the ring here. I think you may have clicked on the wrong button when it came to choosing the category for the composition. It says up there, "Portrait of Self". I don't think so. It's a good entrant for the dream contest or a pretty fractal, but self portrait? Nope! If that's you, we need to call an ambulance and get you to the hospital.

It's difficult to criticize when you like something. :) I do like this, and your color choices, a lot. It reminds me of a wall with peeling paint... one that was sponge painted over in dark stains. It feels old... like something to be archived. But it's great to look at. I agree with Pat... it seems to be in the wrong category. Thanks for sharing it!

Thanks for the feedback. I work at the hospital already. ;) Atm there is no need really to submit me to an asylum though if that was what you had in mind. ^_^

You don't see the figure(s) that are merged in there then? It's a self-portrait of me on each side. On the left I look to the right and vice verse on the left side, besides I turned that one up side down.

The rest of the image is composed of some of my own (IMO) trademarks in photo manipulations. Turning, flipping and merging images and playing around with the color balance 'til its a more or less pure abstract.

I like what you said smoosh, about the peeling paint and that. Just the kind of things I like and strive for in my pieces. (Very often I don't come close enough though.)

I see a stiff upper lip and a rather profound nose. Is that a bow tie?

Hehe... You missed the mono-brow and the hairy patches (one might call it a beard) on my chin... That's not a bow tie btw it's a metal button (or what to call them ("hook and eye" might be a better way to name it)) on a Norwegian-style cardigan.
