You live Life in Chapters - Try to end each Chapter HAPPY!
I like the initial concept of this, but I think it's got a few things going on which are making it not quite make the grade.
A) It's a little too stuck between a photograph and a painted abstract. Pushing the balance one way or the other (probably towards the painted abstract) would help define it better.
B) Because there's so much color going on in complex objects across complex areas, my eye doesn't know where to settle. While you've got a really nice palette going on here, I'd like to see it applied a bit more carefully to allow this image to shine.
