Conveys texture extremely well. I'm usually disappointed in the results of the art filters of the various programs, but you've used "crayon" to very good effect here.

It is very obvious that Linus has a wonderful, soft fur...not to mention that he is simply beautiful. However, I don't think the crayon effect did so well for you with his eyes and with a funny artificial-looking line on his left ear. Have you thought of taking the original pic and making your own chalk rendition of Linus? I bet that would give you softness where he is soft, and brightness where he is bright.
