It looks like someone went home and forgot their canoe....joking. Yes it will be a time for the land to slumber through the long winter, renew it's self in the spring and be ready in the summer when all the people return again. A nice quiet scene Milka!

This is a nice picture. Would have probably cut a little bit more from the land part, although the photo overall is centered and balanced...Maybe less symetry but more focus on the most beautiful part of the shot - the green part+canoe - would provide a better capture....
Nice colors on the sky - maybe some HDR would help also to make it spectacular :)

It's funny, the bright colors and lovely surroundings still convey a sense of abandonment. I love how the vivid red canoe punctuates the scene.
