Yes Darryl, you are correct! "Coprinus plicatilis" is common in North America though it's nickname may throw you off. It's is an edible as well. "Neamh" had sent me an Excellent specimen of this, Transparent and very Glass-like. Nice photo Kristof!

Perfect clarity and wonderfully delicate. The dew drops help to show the small scale of this little beauty.

I like this presentation very much. The square, simple border framing, the framing in of the mushroom between the grasses, and the nicely captured drops of water.
